Run Monthly practice metrics

Risk Management

Coordinate staffing schedules for all of clinic staff & keep appropriate directors apprised

Manage last minute staffing shortages

Maintain credentialing and manage provider contracts

Work with medical director to set practice policies & procedures

Attend coding seminars, practice manager conferences, SVMIC conferences to keep UTD on best practice

Presenting all new CPT/ICD10 coding updates to Medical Director and Nurse Manager

Correct all superbill coding errors in Practice Fusion (current Electronic Health Record)

Respond to all coding emails from NEMD (current billing company)

Notify clinical staff of repetitive coding errors in Practice Fusion

Update fee schedule with new codes and new prices

Review and reassign all cases as appropriate in patient Review Tab in GE

Meet with MCO reps to ensure LSCH is meeting all HEDIS Measures

Review Gap of Care reports to make sure all HEDIS measures for patients are adherent

Review Episodes of Care Reports for all MCOs

Recruit and review practice candidates for clinical and non-clinical positions

Front Office Management

Needs to have a working knowledge of the process & flow of Front Office

Manage front office and non-clinical staff

Meets bi-weekly with Front Office Coordinator to update each other & implement strategy

Oversee and direct the nursing staff and providers for best patient flow

Ensure all clinical and admin staff understand scheduling rules & policies

Participate in QI (Quality Improvement) projects as assigned

Complete Data Verifications for all providers on a quarterly basis (both online & paper)

Manage incentive campaigns with MCOs
